The 11th week of 2016 is packed with fresh & juicy new releases. The 2nd part of our review features massive psychedelic release by 2 psytrance veterans Laughing Buddha & Space Tribe, a massive compilation by Zenon Records, and releases by Up Records, Mainstage Records, and Digital Nature Records. 2 psytrance veteran team up to release a new tune on Nano Records. Laughing Buddha & Space Tribe new tune named “Brave New World” is an energetic twister with non-stop, mind-melting psychedelia. The base-line is bouncy and the track is rich with electrifying TB 303 synth leads that fly your head to outer space.
Zenon Records, the Australian Dark & Trippy psytrance label, released the 4th edition of their “Permutations” series. This chapter is compiled by label boss Sensient, who gathered tracks by almost the entire roster of the Australian label. The compilation opens with a well anticipated fresh tune by Shadow FX, the first he released the label in years. “Shadow Fx – Back in the Groove “ features deep and captivating grooves and spacey aliens that make you feel the abduction is closer than ever. Atom Device released a 2-tracker EP in Aerospace`s Digital Nature Records. The EP is named simply “Psycho”, and features 2 Psy-progressive tunes: “Fucking Psycho”, a collaborative tune with UK producer PRO-Gram (James Curtis, head of Antigen Records), and a solo track by Atom Device, “Psychotropic Effects” which is a deeper more psychedelic tune, with great flowing vibe. Up Records released an EP by KnockOut, aka Anhuar Serna. “We Will Survive” is a powerful EP, featuring 5 new tracks by the Mexican producer, including one collabs with F.F.T. [AKA Marcos Sanchez] and two KnockOut remixes to R.E.L. Vs. Dissy, and Ultravoice Vs. Michele Adamson. Check it out:
Ultrapower released a new EP on Mainstage Records. 5 Full-on tunes feature on this EP, the first one in the label by the producer. The vibe is all about “morning” psytrance, packed with melodies and psychedelic twists.
