Texas Faggott is a Finnish music duo consisting of Tim Thick and Pentti Slayer, who have been working together since the early 1990s. The project was born in 1996 and originally consisted of three members until Francoise Faggott left the band soon after. Sadly, in 2016 Françoise Faggott passed away. Their style can be described as Suomi/Finish Psytrance. The “Suomi-saundi” style is derived from the native name for Finland, the original birthplace of this particularly fat, funky, frantic and experimental form of Psychedelic Trance.

Tim Thick & Pentti Slayer have been producing music under names such as Mandalavandalz, KolmioKulmioSilmiö, Flying Scorpions, Tea Chairs among others. Texas Faggott released their first EP on Nephilim Records, “Kossi Kuittaa”. They went on releasing their first full length album “Kossi Kuittaa” in 1999 on Psy-Harmonics Records. That slowly brought them in the center of the scene, with their characteristic style.
In 2000, they released their second full lengh album “Petoman’s Peflett”, full of quirky melodies and fast unexpected change of themes. During the next years, they continued producing music with their signature suomi sound and they went on touring extensively around the world.
