Midburn – The spirit of Burning Man

This extraordinary happening has emerged as Israel’s edition of Burning Man. When a group of burner friends that just got back from Burning Man festival, has decided that this spirit should be transferred to Israel, and so it all began.

The Glide Girls went to check out Midburn for Trancentral. Here is what they got back with!

The first edition happened in 2014, and was accompanied by the media and visited by 3000 people. What sets it apart is that its audience is mostly the “citizens”, who also participate in making this whole ‘city’.

This year was third edition in the Negev desert on 8-12 June, and the theme was “Abra Cadabra”. Here you are able to see the various art installations and people that enjoy watching them. Take a look at this amazing gathering through pictures below:
