Tribal Gathering 2016 – Panama
Tribal Gathering 2016 – Panama
Tribal Gathering is a beautiful small gathering, and one of the most unique experiences we had. The gathering is, first and for all, a fundraising event for GeoParadise, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working with indigenous communities, with the aim of setting up projects that in the long term create leverage for those communities.
On an amazing Caribbean beach in the jungle of Panama, we met a bunch of dedicated people, who fly from all over the world to spend a week or more together.
The gathering spans over 18 days, and the first half of it is dedicated to the tribes and their shaman with several zones offering workshops, ceremonies and indigenous music. Slowly the pace picks up and we seemingly travel through time to the finale of five days of electronic music and what might be described as our modern rituals of dance, art and creativity.
