Fresh & Crunchy: The best new releases of the week
A huge pack of new releases coming your way: Trancnetral`s weekly New releases review is here.
No less than 8 new releases are features in our review this week. New albums by Sideform and Dirty Hippy were released by Iboga Records & Zenon Records (respectively), Massive remix by Faders to Sonic Species is out on TIP Records, 2 fresh EP`s by Nano Records and plenty more on this week`s new releases review.
TIP Records first release in 2016 is Faders remix to the massive “Sonic Species – Tokyo Sunrise”. The explosive remix will probably cause some serious mayhem on some dancefloors, as it did in the last edition of Universo Paralello Festival in Brazil. Rich, fat production with non-stop action and plenty of psychedelic riffs and twists on this one. Listen to it:
Sideform released their 2nd album, “Momentum”, on Iboga Records on Monday. The album is packed with 9 energetic & psychedelic tunes by the Serbian duo. Highly explosive album with a strong focus on the dancefloor, and some of the tracks in it are already banging dancefloors around the world.
“Tim Schuldt – Pretty Poison (Oforia Remix)” was released on MDMA Records, and it is everything you can expect it to be and a little more. Heavy mysterious beats, infectious “Oforia style” melodies and plenty of Old-School elements, are all featured in this remix. Great stuff!
UK duo Tongue & Groove, with their Techno infused psychedelic grooviness, released a new EP on Nano Records. The EP features 2 funky tracks that will take you cruising and grooving. The EP also includes a massive remix by Green Nuns of the Revolution man, Dick Trevor (Dickster). Listen to it:
Another release by Nano Records released this week is “Buoyancy” by Magic. It is a 2-tracker EP, featuring 2 bouncy tracks: The title track and a remix by Magic to “Tristan – Deep Mind”.
One of the biggest tunes by Vertical Mode, “Lucky Number”, was remixed by Israeli duo Symbolic for TechSafari Records. The uncompromising attitude of Symbolic is all over this new release. Fat bass and tons of spacey psychedelia driving this massive track forward, while the melody that enters during the break gives it an emotional twist.
Dirty Hippy`s new album out now on Zenon Records. “Dirty Hippy – The Star Surfing Tetrahedron” features 8 crunchy, hypnotizing tunes, with funky & jazzy elements. Spacey aliens sounds are combined throughout the album, giving you the feeling of a real Star-Surfing experience.
Check out Dirty Hippy massive collab with Grouch & Evil Oil Man:
Coexist (Dima Gafner, part of NitroDrop project) released a new EP on Digital Om Productions. The EP features 3 Psy-Progressive tunes, including a collab. with Benson.
Digital Nature Records released a new EP by Electit. “End Of Time” features 2 Progressive trance tunes, with tons of energy and a true trance psychedelic vibe. Interesting release by the experienced French producer, Cedric Lamouché (aka Terraformers/Sychovibes).
