Chill Space Top Tracks September 2026

Welcome to our September showcase of our favourite ambient, psychill, and space music tracks. There was something in the Autumn air that inspired Blind Man’s Shine, DeFrost, David De Michele, and H:U:M. And we’re thrilled to feature a re-release of an old psychill classic from One Function!

DeFrost – Magnetar [Full EP]

Named after one of the most powerful forces in the universe, MAGNETAR is Nico Defrost’s playground of sound, energy and imagination. Live instruments and musicians meet electronic landscapes in an experimental journey through light, darkness, fun and love. A universe built in sound. All things change in a dynamic environment. The only good system is a sound system. Love life.

Blind Man’s Shine – A Return To Lost Freedom

Out next on Iono Lounge we have Blind Man’s Shine with “The Next Movement”, a chillout journey shaped by reflection, transformation and the quiet pull of what lies ahead. Moving through spacious ambient textures and immersive electronic atmospheres, the release explores that subtle threshold where stillness begins to turn into motion. Like a solitary traveler approaching an unknown horizon, each passage carries a sense of progression without urgency — allowing light, space and emotion to unfold naturally. Organic warmth meets a refined futuristic atmosphere, creating a world that feels both intimate and expansive. A journey unfolds across eight distinct chapters: “A Return to Lost Freedom,” “Biosphere,” “Hypnotised,” “Radar,” “Rising High,” “The Next Movement,” “Tundra,” and “Together Again” — each revealing a different shade of Blind Man’s Shine’s immersive downtempo world. “The Next Movement” invites the listener to drift beyond the familiar and into a new phase, where the destination remains unseen and the movement itself becomes the experience.

David De Michele – Emanations

David does not read or write musical notation. His music is contemplative, utilizing classical electronic orchestration, choirs, and vocals to express the narrative. No track quantization is performed, preserving the natural tempo. Minimal engineering is performed. David is mostly self-taught with his music intuitively expressed through immediate improvisation, allowing the music to flow creatively.
