The start of the year brings a wide range of music, from Dejalum’s cheeky psybass to N:L:E’s life-affirming organic ambient. We love the diversity of Planet Chill!

Dejalum – Biodevice
Dejalum, a psydub/psychill artist from the outskirts of Santiago, Chile, presents his debut release on Mindspring: Singularities, a delicate fusion of downtempo psybass/psydub music sprinkled with just the right amount of mind-bending psychedelic textures overlaying playful head-bobbing beats.

Amritone is a chillout project created by Alexander Zhikharev, an experienced electronic music artist also known for his other projects: Parallax Breakz, Para-Dise, Tandavibe, Infuzoria, IBS Faction, Sunsound Space. In his work, Alexander experiments in various psychedelic music genres such as psychill, psybass, dubstep, progressive breaks, ambient.

The organic ambient chronicles of Argentinian artist N:L:E deserves more recognition in the chill music scene. Don’t miss his delicate, optimistic touch.
Dub Spencer & Trance Hill – Fugu (YOUTH Remix)
Dub Spencer & Trance Hill join the Liquid Sound Design family with 2 brand new remixes by UK legends Youth and Tim Bran (Dreadzone).
This Swiss Quartet is one of Europe’s most innovative Live Dub Bands. They mix Roots Dub with psychedelic Trance Music and Postrock influences. Riddim Magazin: “Pink Floyd meets Bob Marley”.
“The ‘trance’ in the band name stands for the electronic part of our sound. Although it has hardly ever appeared on a record, it has always been there – much like the original tunes of Trance Plane & Fugu. Now we want to explore this aspect.”
