When we reflect on the year 2021, have a care to remember all the chillout and ambient created by artists around the globe. It was chill vibes that connected us, soothed us, and elevated us all throughout the year. From Kiphi’s ancient mandala to Jaia & Holeg Spies’ contemporary aesthetic, December 2021 was a month to remember.

Kiphi – Ancient Mandala

LAUGE – Nothingness Remixed

In celebration of the 1-year anniversary of the hugely successful Nothingness LP from Lauge, each track has been masterfully remixed by 9 of todays top ambient producers. Fresh takes on these lovely tracks have seen this LP take on a whole new audio lifeform whilst keeping roots with the original foundations. A must hear for Ambient fans, this is equally as masterfully done as the original.

Saraabb – Ente Raye Laween

Allawie started the project with Wasem and they made a rather electronic track called Sarde, which represents a lot of Wasem’s world. Ente Rayeh Laween is a combination of Allawie’s influences which are rather organic.

KUBA – Analogue Sympathy

Our favourite psydub explorer KUBA returns with a special ‘Analogue Sympathy’. One of 2 tracks of beautifully crafted productions from his new EP shows again the delicate fusion of electronic and live instrumentation for which he is widely renowned, and released just ahead of his next full length studio album ‘Relative To The Sun’ to be released in early 2022.

Jaia & Holeg Spies – Discode (Extended mix)

JAIA and HOLEG SPIES, two French trail-blazing trance producers have joined forces once again with this fresh ‘Discode’ EP. First released in France, this hybrid electro-trance tune featuring a most stunning music video by filmmaker Lewis Martin, caught the attention of Dragonfly Records.
