Iono Music was born in order to give its founder, Cubixx aka Matthias Sperlich, the freedom he needed to release his first release. After he met Murus in 2003 at a Psytrance festival, they started working together for several years, and so Iono Music was established in 2005 in Berlin (Germany).

Iono Music’s main emphasis is on Progressive Psytrance but recently a new sublabel, Iono Black, was created with the concept of focusing in a lower bpm range from Techno to Progressive House

Since the beginning, Matthias has been very picky, choosing each artists with extra care, examining every aspect to see if they belong to the label’s philosphy.
