Formed by the French producer & DJ Stephane Dureisseix in 1996, delivering a unique French touch of what psytrance is supposed to be, pumping, happy and psychedelic. Stephane started to build a rock band when he was 16 years old then studied Jazz, piano, harmonium, and music composition until 1996. Originally began as solo project of Stéphane, Yann Hénaff joined him later, as a second member of the group, until the second album.

His challenging drum patterns and percussion which were accompanied by a deep and uncompromising baseline, rocked dance floors and Festivals all over the globe,

Bamboo Forest has since then released 6 albums and a wide variety of single releases, and about 60 tracks on labels such Spirit Zone, Spiral Trax, Dragonfly, Moon Spirits, TIP Visionquest, Turbo Trance, Agitato Rec, Flying Rhino, Trancient Rec,3D Bision, Avatar Rec among others.
