Today we are used to huge festivals with tens of thousands of people coming from around the world. We are used to full commercial events with sponsors, huge stages and a lot of name dropping. We are used to big clubs with big lines outside. We see parties surrounded with huge fences. We see parties with big bars and shops. We see parties with security people pumped on steroids that no nothing about the spirit of trance. We see big DJs who thing they are big stars. And that’s OK. Things change, the world is different. BUT…. this is not the core of psychedelic trance culture. The underground party is!

And this underground party is still there. All over the world. And always will be, because if it isn’t, there are more then enough people who will make one!

The small underground party, the one friends decide to make, because they want to share that amazing feeling they got in their first party. The one few DJs organize, because they want to keep telling the story. The one that is spread between friends. The one that has no aim to make money. The one that doesn’t have the best sound system, or the best parking, or even a decent road leading to it, or many people coming. The one that has no permit, and occasionally gets shut down by the authorities,… And it does not matter. Because the VIBE is there.
