February is a short but delightful month, sweetened with new ambient and chill releases. We’ve selected some of our favourites for your (re)discovery. There is new psychill from fan favourites Klaada and Tribe of the Moon (aka The Witch Doctor)! When brothers N:L:E and KIPHI join forces, magic is always created. Ride the lands of Middle-earth with Tolkien inspired music from David De Michele, then explore the cosmos with space ambient from Philippe Deschamps. We’re also featuring new chillout from The Bitzpan, and a slapdash psydub adventure from the dubbed-out mind of Advanced Suite!

Philippe Deschamps – Cosmos and Clouds

To look at the sky is to watch an artist at work: drawing takes shape, deforms and fades; color intensifies, shines, fades and disappears. To look at the sky is to meditate on what appears and disappears, yet always exists. Clouds don’t die; they change. There’s always a show above our heads. Or on the horizon!

Clouds are like our dreams, slipping from one form to another and back again. It leaves the sensation of a vision, a lost discovery. This EP is entirely devoted to weaving these traces of dreams or clouds.

David De Michele – Realms Within

Middle-Earth themed music score cinematically with Celtic and Welsh influences. Composed, performed, and produced by David De Michele through his independent label, Indigo World Productions.

Advanced Suite – Slapdash
