The Witch Doctor has always been passionate about music, but it is only in the last 7 years that she has fully dedicated herself to djing and producing psytrance/psychill. She has been playing Psytrance since the late 90’s starting with Vinyl but a Scientific career and education mean’t focus had to wait. The rewards have been bountiful this last 7 years – from playing with and working with renowned artists to having weekly radio shows on multiple stations. The pandemic may have temporarily stopped her from playing at parties and festivals, but it has also allowed her creative spirit to flourish and commit even more time for producing mesmerizing tracks and mixing via the airwaves. The result of this dedication speaks volumes and long may it continue.

Glowing Galaxy – Stellar Dreamscapes [Chill Space Mix Series 181]

Glowing Galaxy is an electronic music project of John Leahy, an artist with over a decade of experience producing experimental psychedelic electronica. Launched in 2024, this chillout/ambient project marks the beginning of a new and creative chapter for John, exploring the deeper and more atmospheric realms of sound. Over the years, he has become increasingly interested and drawn to the subtle textures and emotive undertones commonly found in chillout and pure ambient.

Glowing Galaxy embodies a balance between the expansive, uplifting energy of electronica – and the soothing, meditative calm of ambient. Each track is designed to take listeners on a journey through space-and-time-esque soundscapes, where intricate layers of sound interweave with one another – creating an immersive auditory experience for the listener.

At times energizing and ethereal, and at others deeply relaxing, Glowing Galaxy offers an auditory escape for those seeking serenity as well as those craving a touch of cosmic wonder.
