Spring is in the air, and we’re feeling alive and drawn to the spirit of nature. It’s time to put on our chill hiking boots and explore the sounds of downtempo, ambient, and psybass mixes. This month we’re thrilled to showcase exclusive mixes from Martins Garden, Savvas Kalt, and Takkra. Breathe in the chill fresh air and enjoy!

Martins Garden is the alias of Switzerland electronic music producer Marcel Umberg. Marcel started producing music in the early 2000. His musical genres include downbeat, dub, psydub, psybient, ethno fusion, classical fusion, retro future and chillout.

[Chill Space Mix Series 015] DJ Savvas Kalt: Endless Roads Psybass Mix

Savvas Kalt is a DJ and the founder of Savvas Kalt YouTube channel. In 2018 he was voted the third best ”Downtempo / Psychill” DJ on the website Psybient.org. In July 2020 he joined AstroPilot Music (Russia) as a label DJ. His mix showcases the most liquid and psychedelic psybass from around the planet.

Takkra: Liquid Horizons Mix

Inspired by the endless horizons, the strong presence of elemental forces, the vibrations and the sacred geometry carved into textures everywhere. The ever changing magical mural of Lanzarote is a constant reminder of that the only reality is here and now and the human scale is a golden one to observe it all. As above so below. The awakening of consciousness is the goal of creation.

These tunes were selected to provide a soundscape for a deepening magical human experience we all designed to live out.

This is the audio from the live guitar set performed in Ajja’s studio on the 20th of March, 2021. The set was live-streamed to the Reinventing The Tattoo Virtual Equinox Festival and featured custom visuals by Android Jones.

Johnny Blue comes from Cyprus. He started dj-ing 23 years ago. His first influence was rock and especially psychedelic rock ( Pink Floyd , Ozric Tentacles etc ). In 2000 he got into the electronic scene with a main interest chill out and psychedelic trance music.

Being influenced by several music cultures (rock, dub, reggae, electronica, psy-trance, chill out), he developed a unique style by by smoothly blending sounds in colourful and sensational music journeys.
