Rastaliens is a German project consisted of Jurgen Kassel and Ralph Knobloch which debuted in 1997. Starting as DJs, they soon realized that playing other people’s tracks was not enough for them.

They crafted a unique sound signature and went on releasing more than 3 albums and numerous tracks on various compilations throughout the project’s existence.

Rastaliens started in a small cellar with not a lot of equipment. At the beginning they were just using a simple synth software and a small sequencer-program. Despite their limited resources, they managed to craft a unique sound signature and went on releasing more than 3 albums and numerous tracks on various compilations throughout the project’s existence.

For over 25 years Rastaliens sounds are still rocking the Psytrance Scene, delivering a unique full power sound accompanied by twisted drill elements, real dancefloor tracks supported by fine production, funky basslines and generally uplifting vibes, perfectly designed to be played when the dancefloor gets hot. Ralph Knobloch is still very active with the Braincell project releasing on Nano Records.
