We sure hope you know Psychedelic Universe, a YouTube universe dedicated to Psytrance music. This massive channel, that has been spreading quality Psytrance music since 2013 is a key member of the Trancentral network. We have asked Psychedelic Universe to sum up the first half of 2018 with a playlist of Psytrance’s best of 2018 so far.

Best of 2018 – January – June Top 20 list:
01. Ectima – First Dose Of DMT [TesseracTstudio]
Starting with Ectima aka Zyce & Flegma with a track that will take you far.
02. Ajja & Tristan – Worzel Gummage [Future Music Records]
Ajja & Tristan are two artists with a totally different style. If you know them you’ll notice and identify each one’s sounds when you’ll listen to the this track.
03. Static Movement & Mindwave – Sources [Iono Music]
Static Movement & Mindwave – two giants who joined forces for this massive track. If you know me then you know that Static Movement is my favorite artist so there wasn’t a chance I’ll leave this one out.
04. Symbolic – Evolution [Iboga Records]
Next, we got Symbolic, by Ilan Shemi who is also known with the new and very promising duo – Artificials. Everything these guys make is like gold.
05. MFG – Pure Energy (Mindcraft Remix) [Dacru Records]
There’s a special place in my heart for MFG – one of the oldest projects from the mid 90’s. Hence why I decided to put two MFG tracks here. Hopefully, this return after being away for such a long time will have a continuation.
06. Ace Ventura & Ryanosaurus – Still Searching [Iboga Records]
Ace Ventura returns after a while with a track with Ryanosaurus. No other words needed.
07. Outsiders vs Astral Projection – Universal Language [TIP Records]
Others who returned but after much longer time are Astral Projection, with the MASSIVE Outsiders. I’m sure you’ll identify their special AP style & Goa sounds somewhere during the track. If this track symbolizes what’s coming in their much anticipated forthcoming album then there is what to wait for.
08. R3cycle – Deadline [Iono Music]
R3cycle is a side project by Static Movement. It presents a slower and interesting vibe – something you’d really want to taste.
09. Mad Tribe & Alpha Portal – Sky High [Future Music Records]
Mad Tribe & Alpha Portal – like it wasn’t enough when the 2 legends Astrix & Ace Ventura began this new project, now they brought Mad Tribe – aka Mad Maxx & veteran Space Tribe to make a truly unforgettable track.
10. Zyce – Messier 83 [TesseracTstudio]
Zyce also returns, with his special sounds and style, with a track that will make you roll your eyes and wonder what have you done to deserve all this goodness.
11. U-Recken – In Flames [Dacru Records]
U-Recken returns too and you’ll listen to him again right before this playlist ends. No other word is needed about this legend, too.
12. Mindcraft aka MFG – Objects In The Sky [Spiral Trax]
Second visit from Guy Zukrel, as promised.
13. Djantrix – Transcription [Digital Om Productions]
Djantrix is one of the rising forces in our tribe. Literally, each and every track he produces can make your legs move constantly (if you sit) and your whole body move (if you are in a party). This one is no exception.
14. Infected Mushroom – Bust A Move (Bliss Remix) [HOMmega]
Another return is by Infected Mushroom – this time with an EP with remixes for some of their classics. The Bust A Move was my favorite from it, also the original!
15. Mad Tribe – Planet Gone Mad [TIP Records]
Mad Tribe bombed the dancefloors this year with their Planet Gone MAD EP. What I love about those guys is that they always blend voices from super old films, like from the 50’s and let’s not forget those amazing album covers that always come as part of the package.
16. Flegma & Zyce – Bengal [TesseracTstudio]
Flegma returned also this year, with his much-anticipated album. His collab with Zyce is truly everything you need.
17. Symbolic & Lifeforms – We Are Awakening [Iboga Records]
Symbolic & Lifeforms – another two projects that smashed every one of us with this We Are Awakening track that was one of the most successful tunes of the year so far.
18. Impact & Waveform – Speed of Light [Iono Music]
Impact & Waveform – Speed of Light, taken from Impact’s new album was my favorite of it. You’ll understand why when you’ll listen to it.
19. U-Recken – Abnormal [Dacru Records]
Second visit by Yaniv Ben-Ari.
20. Egorythmia & Dual Resonance – Titania [Iono Music]
Egorythmia (with Dual Resonance) is a fine way to close this playlist. There is hardly any artist that can make me feel what I feel when I listen to this spectacular artist.
