Sometimes the smaller festivals offer an experience that can be stronger and more unique than the big ones. Here’s a short report on Connection Festival 2016, including some amazing photos and a crazy full live set video from Goa Trance pioneers Astral Projection that sent the crowd into a real craze.

This year’s Connection Festival 2016 was held on September 27 in Batán de las Monjas, Spain, a location from a fairy tale, surrounded by beautiful nature and waterfalls.

There were three stages on Connection Festival 2016. On the Main Floor you people were dancing to some massive classic Goa Trance sounds; The Alternative Floor was dedicated to slower rhythms, with Progressive Trance and more, and of course there was also the Chill Out Garden.

The videos… look wild with a feel of that old school early Goa Trance craziness on the dancefloor.

Line up was full with great names like Astral Projection, Etnica, E-Mantra, Shakta, Radical Distortion, Anoebis (Suntrip Records) and many more …
