“Dragonfly – Classix” is a 2-part CD gathering all the best tracks released in the label during its first years. The compilation was released in 1998, and it features some unforgettable tracks that are considered as psytrance milestones to these days. Tracks like “Hallucinogen – LSD”, “Total Eclipse – Aliens”, “Man With No Name – Teleport” and “The Infinity Project – Time & Space”, are just few of the classics released by the label and are featured in this compilation.
Dragonfly Records is the first pure Psychedelic trance records label. It was formed back in 1992 by Martin “Youth” Glover (a former bassist for the band Killing Joke) in Brixton Road, South London, as part of his Butterfly Records. The label quickly became the center of the psychedelic scene in London back in those days, and Some of the most influential figures in psytrance history were part of it, including Raja Ram, Simon Posford, Man With No Name, Total Eclipse and more.
